There are currently many issues in pain behaviour testing. RAMalgo aims not only to address these issues to do the conventional tests better, but to expand the scope of testing.
↪ RAMalgo executes conventional tests more precisely and reliably.
↪ With RAMalgo, there is no need for humans in the room.
↪ RAMalgo easily syncs with electrophysiology or imaging systems.
↪ Testing in the dark
is made easy with IR illumination.
↪ Electronic data files (including video) can be shared/pooled.
↪ AI enables efficient analysis of non-reflexive behaviours.
Our user interface is easy to use. The software saves information about the stimulus, the withdrawal, the video and all metadata for future reference, sharing, and later analysis.
RAMalgo can be synchronized with all your other equipment using TTL pulses, to sync all your data with high precision.

We are developing sophisticated AI analysis to identify, categorize, and visualize behaviors, including behaviors before, after, or independent of stimulation.
Robotic testing ensures reproducible stimulation with different modalities (heat, mechanical, and optogenetic) and precise withdrawal measurement. Our robot RAMalgo can be controlled remotely, via joystick, or run autonomously using machine learning. All data, including videos, are recorded to electronic files and additional information can be extracted from video using self-supervised machine learning algorithms developed by us.

RAMalgo is designed to adapt to your experiments. RAMalgo's components are uniquely modular, to execute and optimize a variety of testing methods. Aiming these stimuli can be automated or non-automated, the choice is yours.
